Nicole’s uncle was a teacher at Achungo at Rodi and enrolled her 7 years ago. She had attended St Michael’s but she told us Achungo is a much better school with good teacher coverage, and highly achieving students.
Her home is about 4 kilometers from the school where she lives with her grandmother, her 2 siblings, her uncle and 6 cousins. She says she never knew her mother or father. On Sundays she goes to the Jesus Revival Evangelical Church.
Nicole’s favorite class is Social Studies and she enjoys reading storybooks and playing football (soccer). She hopes to become a pilot.
