I never knew my father but I’m told he was an engineer. I live with my mother but she has no job or even a subsistence garden. She washes clothes to have some money for food. I have two brothers, Sammy and Jonathan, and a sister.
I started my schooling at Achungo because my mother heard it was the best school in our area. When I first came to Achungo I was very shy and afraid, thinking that other students would beat me. But it is a wonderful school because it does not have bad students that steal another student’s property. The teachers teach us well and teach morals that make us good people. Achungo is the best school because it is a religious school where students pray on Sundays. Achungo is a wonderful school that made me understand the goodness of a friend.
My best friend is Brian and we like to play soccer together and study together. We always discuss our homework together. He is a kind friend who always helps me in times of need. Besides my studies I like going to church every Saturday and helping my mother with housework and being home with my mother telling wonderful stories about the past. Sometimes I also like watching educational programs when I don’t have work to do.
I want to be an engineer when I grow up, just like my father. I would be able to help people travel without any problem and finish their journey safely. I would also like this job to remember my father because I was born without knowing who my father was. This job would also help my mother travel easily and own her own car.
