8th Grade Graduates of 2022 December (Imbo)

I had been attending God-Kado Primary but kept being sent home because I didn’t have school fees. Then, I heard about Achungo and my mother brought me here. It is so different here.  We get a good education and we have time to read.

I live in Kochia with my mother, Emily and my father, Michael.  He works as a blacksmith and she grows tomatoes. The money they get from their work only pays for our food. I am the oldest of four brothers. I think that Achungo will help me get to the next level in the future so that I can help my parents.

During breaks I like reading storybooks and playing soccer with my friends. We like reading more than anything. At home I help my father at the blacksmithing so that we can have some money.

After I finish my education I want to be a doctor so I can save people’s lives. I hear that many people die because there are no doctors to treat them or operate on them, so I want to be a doctor.
