8th Grade Graduates of 2022 April (Imbo)

I have been at Achungo for four years, joining in 4th grade after attending a public school. At that school some teachers didn’t show up for class sometimes and the teaching was in our local language. The learning is much better at Achungo because we are taught better than at the public school I was in. I have found the students here well-behaved and they speak fluent English because we are taught in English. I get a lot of time to read. I like the teachers because they always teach well and they also teach us moral values and how to handle different people.

I live in neighboring Kothidha with my parents, Lilian and Richard. She has a small shop and he is a cobbler. They are also always working in our garden. I have two sisters, 22 and 9, and two brothers, 20 and 6. All of them go to school.

I like studying together with my friend, Belinda, reviewing and asking questions. Besides my studies I like cycling and playing netball. At home I like doing my house chores and playing with my friends.

I would like to become an engineer because I want to help my parents and people living in our community. I always work hard to achieve my dream and to help people who are in need.
