8th Grade Graduates of 2022 December (Imbo)

I was 7 years old when my parents died and I now live in Kanyada with my younger brother and sister and my guardian. She tends our garden plot. God has looked after me for the years since my parents have been gone. I realize that if you put God first, everything is possible if you work hard. In my life I have asked God for wisdom and knowledge.

I came to Achungo in 3rd grade and I have found that teachers are well trained. The school motto is “Every child is an Achiever”.  All pupils are taught well in class and have a good environment for learning. My teachers have found that I am a disciplined pupil and concentrate on my class work very well. I find it easy to learn because I do not have to go back home at lunch time, like at my old school – we stay at school and are given food. My guardian is praying for me in school so that I can pass my national examination.

During our break times at school, I like to play football (soccer) and God has talented me to play this sport so that in the future I want to make money playing it. During school breaks, I like to go back home and help my guardian by fetching firewood and water for cooking. One day I would like to help my guardian because she has looked after me since I was little.

After finishing my education, I want to be a doctor and to help my family members and also my brother, who would like to be a pilot in the future. I have seen doctors helping people and they also get a lot of money.
