Kerry

8th Grade Graduates of 2022 April (Rodi)

Kerry (16) lives with Lindah, his 26-year-old guardian, and his 2 sisters. He was often out of school, getting up at 6 a.m. with Lindah to find farm work so they had money for food and school fees. They also have a small garden. Lindah found church pastors to sponsor school fees for Kerry’s sisters and brought Karry to Achungo 6 years ago.

Kerry told us, “When I went to Achungo, I was happy.  I thank God about the sponsorship I got.  I like Achungo because all the children are disciplined and all the teachers are teaching better than the school I attended prior.  My brother died when I was in Class 6.  On that day I was not happy.  That’s why I want to study so that I can replace my father.  In future I would like to be a Journalist and also a footballer. I like football because my father was a footballer when he was still alive.

I appreciate the sponsorship and staff of Achungo that let me join Achungo.  May God hand you more life for what you did to many children. May God bless sponsors of Achungo Children’s Center.”
